Pakistan inherited, thousands of kilometers of broad, meter and narrow gauge pail track, from British colonial rule. British laid tracks through Khyber pass and Bolan pass as military supply line, a part of their cold war with Russia, commonly known as great game. these tracks are the master of railway engineering of nineteenth century.

The most important aspect is the still operative steam operation. Khyber, being one of them with 1:25 gradient and unique reversing stations is a wonder on its own. We have fifty to sixty years old British and Canadian steam powers at five different loco sheds spread on as many different terrain, like mountain, plains and deserts, for steam enthusiasts photographic tours.

We also offer rail based sightseeing tours with sleeping coaches and dinning cars through the length of Pakistan. A rear venture in which VISTA specializes as the only operator in Pakistan.
